Le Morne Chapter One has dropped on youtube and is the first of a three part series. The short animated film’s first chapter is entitled ‘Je ne comprends pas’ and depicts the capture and transportation of Talib, a slave from Mozambique to the island of Mauritius. Confused and traumatised, Talib has to adapt to his new surroundings and the unknown future that lies infront of him.

Chapters two and three will follow throughout 2024 with the aim of submitting the full short film to festivals in 2025. Keep up to date with all the latest news on this project by visiting the blog section of this website.
